February Bellabox

Sorry for the delayed post! I've been really caught up with uni and all, but let's get straight into the February Bellabox.
Product details!
I was happy to see that the February box was quite full when I opened it however, for that past two boxes I haven't received my products in their signature blue polkadotted box, which kind of makes me sad. However, Bellabox claim that this is due to there being a higher demand for their boxes than usual.

A pretty full box this month!
Typically when there is a holiday season (December: Christmas, February: Valentines) Bellabox stick with a theme, and they also tend to supply more products during this time.

MANNA KADAR / PEARLISED POWDER

This product actually claims to be a multi-use powder (which if you think about it, many makeup products can have multiple uses). I picked the shade Paradise Blush, which has a lovely iridescent effect which could be used as a blush as intended (reminds me of Nars 'Orgasm' blush) or it would make a stunning eyeshadow too.
This product was surprisingly pigmented, and props to Bellabox for packing this product in bubble-wrap because I feel like other makeup companies don't do this very often and I've heard so many stories of people opening smashed powders.

ORIGINAL SOURCE / MOISTURISING SHOWER MILK

I have always loved Original Source's shower milks. I was so happy to receive a product from their brand, yet alone in a scent I really wanted... Green Banana and Bamboo Milk! The scent reminds me of those banana musk lollies that you'd get at parties as a kid.
I also own a hair mask by The Body Shop in a very similar banana scent. They also sell shampoo and conditioner in the same scent and it lingers all throughout the day when you use it.

PALMER'S COCOA BUTTER FORMULA / MULTI EFFECT PERFECTING FACIAL OIL

I am also a big fan of Palmer's. I think in one of my empties posts I had a body oil by them which I remember being light-weight and not greasy at all. To be honest, I haven't used this product yet, and the tube is tiny too so I could probably get about 1-2 uses out of it.

To be even more honest, I still own another facial oil I got from the Bellabox all the way back in June or July. It was actually a full sized product and I am waiting for autumn to become cooler so that I can use it more. So for now, I will continue to use my current facial oil and I'll have to still use up my Burt's Bee's sample I got in my other Bellabox too so that I can compare and get what I like.

LA ROCHE-POSAY / EFFACLAR FOAMING GEL

Bellabox keep sending me La Roche products, which I'm not completely mad at, but it does seem like they're sponsored by them by now haha (not that there is anything wrong with that at all!). I am actually a big fan of their products because they are more gentle and for sensitive skin.

I actually gave this product for my sister to try out because it is targeted more towards oily and sensitive skin (I have dry skin).

LUIERE / BIO-CELLULOSE MASK

I was so happy to receive a mask! Although I prefer clay masks over sheet masks I still do think that i is very fun to pamper myself especially on days that I am feeling down. I received the anti-ageing mask, which isn't my skin concern however, a lot of anti-ageing products tend to work great on me because they have a lot more moisturising properties compared to regular products (as people who age lose oil glands over time).

LAVERA / FIRMING DAY CREAM

Another sachet sample! I've come to the conclusion that is is extremely difficult to judge sachet samples but I do appreciate the extra goodies that they are always willing to give away. Although having more firm skin isn't my priority, I am still happy to use this product on one of my 'spa days' where I apply face masks and a plethora of products that I haven't tried out.

Overall, I was pretty happy with this month's Bellabox. If I were to change something, it would probably be the La Roche-Posay foaming gel only because I've been receiving so many of their products in the past few boxes (which don't even cater to my skin type).

Until next time!
